First Stop

This is my first post of my first blog.  I have a lot of interests- sailing, history, religion and spirituality, old homes, travel, education, children (it may be the grandfather or uncle in me), wood working etc.  However, as you may guess from the title I am a school bus driver.  It is a great job.  For one thing, I carry the future.  The bus is big, about 50 feet long and is rated for 71 passengers.  It can hold a lot of people and gear.  In Riding My Yellow Bus I plan to board stories and comments about the world I see from my driver's seat.  They will not just be about my daily runs but will cover most of what's on my mind, what I observe both in the driver's seat and from other vantage points and, maybe even, from my heart.  There will be pictures too that hopefully will impress and inspire or just be nice to look at.  That's a lot I have promised myself.  I guess it is time to start my run.
